Serial cop impersonator in ballistic vest and with body camera busted trying to pull over real deputies: cops

A serial convicted cop impersonator from Texas was busted after authorities said he tried to pull over undercover deputies while sporting a fake uniform, ballistic vest and an official-looking badge.

Shaun Arnold was driving a white Hyundai Santa Fe equipped with emergency lights and sirens when he attempted to perform the illegal traffic stop during a racing event in west Houston Saturday, according to a press release from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

Alarmed by Arnold’s “suspicious behavior,” undercover deputies alerted marked sheriff’s units, which stopped him and found he was “fully equipped to deceive” by having donned a police uniform shirt, a bulletproof vest with his last name stitched on the front, a body camera and a security badge.
