JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed linebacker Foyesade Oluokun to a three-year extension, the team announced Friday.

The deal is worth $45 million with a max value of up to $48 million and includes $22.5 million guaranteed, a source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Oluokun is now under contract with the Jaguars through the 2027 season.

Oluokun was entering the final season of the three-year, $45 million ($28 million) contract he signed with the Jaguars in March 2022. He was scheduled to have a salary cap figure of $21.750 million and a $13 million salary in 2024.

Oluokun spent the first four seasons of his career with the Atlanta Falcons, who drafted him in the sixth round in 2018 out of Yale. Oluokun has led the NFL in tackles in two of the past three seasons (2021 with Atlanta and 2022 with the Jaguars) and has the most tackles of any player from 2021 to 2023 (549). He led the NFL in solo tackles in 2022 (128) and 2023 (111).

Oluokun has 357 tackles, 19 quarterback hits and 5 fumble recoveries in his two seasons with the Jaguars. His 173 tackles in 2023 made him just the sixth player since 2000 to surpass 150 tackles in three consecutive seasons.
